Press Review

"It's been a long time since we laughed so much at a family comedy. Director Emmanuel Poulain-Arnaud and his co-screenwriter, Noé Debré, shake up stereotypes with agility and plenty of wit in both dialogue and situational comedy."

Télérama - 08/30/2022

"Emmanuel Poulain-Arnaud confirms real talent in the (very battered) register of French comedy. His sense of rhythm is impeccable, and his knack for misunderstanding, light and delicious like a chocolate mousse. Not to mention a wonderful direction of actors, with the impeccable duo of Philippe Katerine and Alexandra Lamy. The nice surprise of the end of the year."

L'Obs - 12/29/2021

"We laugh, we cry, we question... the Test offers you 85 minutes of rare sensitivity. The actors play with such precision that the Castillon family seems to become a bit like yours. We loved the complicity of the children, and the surprising range of Alexandra Lamy & Philippe Katerine, unrecognizable."

Sortir à Paris - 12/31/2021

"The film doesn't take itself seriously and embraces the pleasant and entertaining nature of a cinematic work. You come out with a smile on your lips, and above all, a real emotion towards this confusing family. The film reconciles each viewer with the family. It's a film to watch with others, whether we're parents, teenagers, or grandparents."
